FireWire Works.
The FIREVue™ Gold Diagnostics FireWire 1394 Gender Adapters and Cable Adapters provide an easy way to change or extend any existing cable connection while adding diagnostic capabilities to the FireWire 1394 Bus. Our Gender Adapters have a small built-in greed LED that monitors the power on the FireWire 1394 Bus.
Now you no longer need to guess if power is being supplied properly. The extra shielding, gold contacts, and gold connectors are designed to give you years of use, (over 50,000 insertions).

The FireVue 4 Pin to 4 Pin Adapter allows you to extend your 4 Pin Cable length by plugging two cables together. These 4 Pin cables do not transmit power so the devices must supply their own. This adapter does not have our exclusive LED to show that 1394 power is supplied.
