These boards outperform all other Bridge Boards on the market and incorporate the Initio / TI chip technology to provide the ultimate in speed and reliability. The board has connections for Drive Access and Drive Power LEDs. It uses the standard 4 pin floppy power connector for easy installation into existing enclosures or computers.

Notice: FireWire 800 when used with existing 7200rpm drives will not perform at 80MB/s. Current drives are too slow to take advantage of this speed. You can expect to achieve about 50MB/s using the current fastest drives on the market.
